With due compensation, 9uH works well as a bifilar filament choke on
160m. To compensate for the 100Ωs of XL in the 9uH choke, one adds c.
1000pF to C-2 of the 160m tuned input -- and they lived happily ever
after.

Well My 4-1000A Linear works fine on 160 with a FC30. Pi network input

The B&W FC series of chokes were all 3-30 mhz continuous coverage.
The ferrite rods were only 3.5 inches long; too short to get the
proper
turns of wire on the rod to properly cover 160m. That's why they
rated it
3-30 mhz instead of 1.8-30 mhz.
