This appears to be a Class C variation of a Messenger. I say Class C because there isn't the usual wirewound resistor and clamping diode evident in the picture. The rest of it is all Messenger design. I suspect it's using a pair of 2SC2290's as the output transformers are shorter then usual for 2SC2879's.
