Gary,
I use Opera for the browser as it has one of the best pop-up stoppers and best
security they are, just as good as Firefox as I've ran it too. Opera has a
built in e-mail client also. I don't use it though. I got used to using Opera
and stayed with it. The only difference between it and Firefox is Firefox is
free. What I use for e-mail is an app called Courier E-Mail by Rose City
Software. It's designed for business use and where you can have miltiple
protected mail boxes. It has the teachable spam filter and other security
features also. I leave IE and OE on here as the OS needs some of their DLL's to
work right. If it wasn't for that, I'd un-install them in a heartbeat. There
was a law suit over that and M$ lost. Now they are supposed to have IE and OE
where they can be taken out if you dont want them. IE supposed to be made fully
compatible with Java now too as Sun won the law suit they had with M$. M$ tried
to chage the coding of Java without Suns permission and was why Ne
tscape had problems with some webpages. It was done for that reason by M$ so
folks would want to buy IE.
