Will,

I would encourage you to re-join the ranks.  Quitting doesn't make it 
better. It's what we do that makes a difference. If we want to listen, 
there will always be enough nay sayers to discourage anyone.  Better to 
elmer those that want to learn (I spent the afternoon doing just that; 
helping a young man do a conversion on a GE Mastr II for an itinerant 
repeater). Keep up the good work.
