I have several sk-840 sockets used with the 5cx1500 tubes. The 4cx1000 tubes fits perfectly in the sk840 socket. What is the difference between the sk-840 and sk-800b? Can the sk-840 be modified to used the 4cx1000/1500 tubes. Larry N5BIP -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
