On the flip side of the coin, I have some Formvar coated wire that is at
least 15-20 years old and I find that if I try to wind it into a diameter
smaller than 1" it cracks the formvar coating. Is there any thing that I
can do to this wire to recondition or soften it up? I don't really think
that it hurts unless I am trying to wind a tightly spaced coil but it still
looks like s--t.
