Actually, the Z-28 was around 40 to 47 uH if I remember. They used some
mighty fine resistance wire to wind it (low resistance though). An
engineer there told me that was done to help with the resonance but's it's
been so long I forget a lot of the details. They count on the hollow
ceramic form and coating to dissapate heat so a finer wire could be used.
However, I've sure changed a bunch of those orange boogers which was burnt
in two too!
