I know about a Ham 75m mobile in a Suburban that was powered by an Army
surplus trailer-generator plant towed behind the Suburban. The
amplifier used an 8000v anode supply. Corona from the antenna turned
out to be a major design hurdle.

It's a Suburban with a dedicated "25kW" CB amplifier.
Take a look at the power supply and the cooling
system.
The ad says it uses a pair of 3CX3000 ... who knows
what element is in the Bird meter, though.
Take a look before eBay pulls this ad off the system.
