Plate voltage has large influence on idle current...gi7b with 2kv/pl works
good with 48v/50watt zener diode,assuming proper grounded grid
design...Nearly every Russian tube (Triode) Iv`e played with shows somewhat
diffrent idle current with the same value of bias...Could it be quality
control? Jim.
