Thanks LA6HV, OZ1PIF, W5LU, KD4LYH and AA6EG for trying to help. I'm now convinced that I have a tube problem, BUT I have never had any Svetlana tubes in the amp... Two things to do: Get some NOS Cetron 572B's or throw the FL2100z away and get an amp with ONE ''real'' tube! Anyway, I still don't understand why I can see Ip in ''stand-by'', shouldn't the bias cut off the tubes completely?? 73 de Osten SM5DQC sm5dqc@algonet.se |
