Hi Stig

Have a look at my websiteon
http://granta.digital-crocus.com/Linear_design_notes.php3
there are some excel spreadsheets for coil calculators and Pi, Pi-L and L-Pi
networks for linear builders

I am designing filters for a GS35B amplifier and I am missing a
computer program I used to do calculations of single layer coils ,
which was very handsome. ( lost in an hard disk crash, also the back-
up was gone, before I found out the mothercard killed the disks).

I think the program was made by a californian ham, it was iterative in
one window and took care of different materials the coil was wired on.
It calculated the Q and more importent the coil capacitance and the
eqvivalent inductance or reactance for the chosen frequency.

I will appreciate any information where possible to find the program or
the name or call of the ham.
