[Amps] What is a Flapper Cap

I thought that my nice pictorial links in the original posting explained it
fairly well, they say a picture speaks a thousand words, so here's the links

'flapper caps',but both work well.  Whenever I look at the WD7S stuff I feel
very humbled, at least from an aesthetic point of view.
