[Amps] L7 on WARC-bands?

A friend of mine intend to by a second-hand Drake L-7 amp. Obviously it has
no band-switch positions for the WARC-bands, but how does it tune on those
bands?
What output can he expect? I guess the main problem is mismatched input
circuits resulting in reduced drive power from the tranceiver.
Information from someone who tried would be appreciated.
