| Subject: | [Amps] Solid State bias adjust? |

I have a Metron amp which has but a single pre-set to adjust the bias for all 8 devices. Is this shared in such amps as the Henry's, SGC and Ten Tec Hercules or do they have a single pre-set for each pair of transistors? If you use a properly matched set of output devices am I right in thinking there would be no advantage in having separate pots per output pair? Thanks. -- Philip de Cadenet G4ZOW |
