What is the difference if the band switch is a progressive shorting type or just tap's the tank coil? Is there any difference in coil Q or losses? I know that the voltage can be quite high on say the 40 meter tap when the switch is set on 20 or 15. With a switch with enough contact spacing does it matter? Thanks Gary K4FMX |
