1000' might be overkill - I estimate around 120dB at 10MHz! I used to know a
guy who designed a laser cable marking machine that would do it, but I think
they went bust or sold out.

Seriously for a moment, incase anyone is interested, reels are 100m (328')
and cost 120UKP, about $170.
