All: I found a dummy load construction project in the '92 ARRL Handbook. It calls for a "Carborundum Resistor, P/N 889SP500k". It appears to be a longish rod, that you place in an oil bath for heat dissipation, up to 1500W. Does anyone know where one would get one of these parts?
