I have to ask -- did Dahl _KNOW_ you were looking to need 500 of these in
100-piece lots? That might have made a difference on the prototype price.
Of course, if the Chinese used Norinco to supply subcontracted labor, there's a
very good reason they could beat the price of an American manufacturer who has
to PAY his workers.
