First remove the meter panel and place in a scanner. Scan the meter into =
a programme such as Coreldraw (this is what I use). Through this =
programme you can delete the numbers on the outside of the scale and =
reinsert the numbers you require. Print onto a good quality paper with a =
laser printer, then glue on to the other side of the meter panel. I =
found the best glue is a pvc glue used for glueing wood together as it =
does not show through and stain the paper as it is water soluble. =
Dont forget to use the other side of the meter panel as you may wish to =
revert the meter to original some time. 73s Lee ZL2LE understudy to =

Hi everybody and Happy Thanksgiving time,

     Need some help....

While back,...probably in the last year ... I remember seeing an =
article in one of the ham magazines about re-facing meter panels with =
the help of a laser printer!

Can somebody route me towards this article. A copy of it will be =
greatly appreciated.

Plan to try this procedure on my next PA project!

     Best regards and many thanks,

                                                              George =
