[Steve Katz] Hi Roger! Whatever floats your boat...but I wouldn't
use RG59 for 2700V, it's kinda pushing the limit. Polyethylene is a good RF
dielectric but doesn't have a high DWV, and it gets worse after you solder
to its inner conductor (crimping is better), giving the center conductor a
chance to shift inside the soft, nearly molten polyethylene. Another writer
spoke of RG400, which, although expensive, is a better choice. Its
dielectric is Teflon.
