Hi George and the others,
we did some experiments with the MRF 150 on a board we purchased from
Communication Concepts based on an engineering bulletin from Motorola.
At the moment we would like to do a redesign on this board and include
some
features like current measurement with optocoupled amps , automatic
bandswitching etc. using a microcontroller.
What I am looking for is a 50 ohms lowpass unit (lets say 1KW )
for the ham
bands. May be there was an article somewhere and I dont have to go
thru the
"design process " (hi ).
Sorry I am also an "old guy" (lis since 1966) but today I find it
ridiculous to
build an amplifier with 4 x 811A tubes like some manufacturer still
selling it.
Nothing to say about a "modern tube " design. But I think a "state of
the art"
MOS FET
design is much more interesting.
Will keep your E-Mail adress ... thanks
