/\ Why put a 52A bifilar choke in the secondary when one 3A bifilar
choke in the primary plus one 3A choke in the C.T. would work just as
well. To do this trick, mount the filament transformer on a 1/8" thick
G-10 epoxy-fiberglass rectangle to insulate it from chassis gnd. Bypass
both transformer windings - plus the C.T. - to the core with c. 0.01uF,
1600v disk-cer. caps. The choke in the C.T. carries the B- return. For
160m, ?15uH chokes are ok. Measure the C from the fil. transformer core
to chassis. This C becomes part of C2 for the tuned inputs. Modern #20
AWG high-temp. electric motor wire will easily carry 3A.

have fun, Ken
