I have a couple of Western Electric ones (fixed vlaue), type 8047 - 50pF
7.5kV 10A and 50pF 5kV 5A.
The 7.5kV one goes to 15kV for 1uA leakage, the other must be gassy and arcs
at 1.5-2kV. Can it be mended?
Does anyone have a use for the good one? Make me an offer.
Size - 1.5" dia, 1.75" body length, solid spigots at either end, .75" long,
.5" dia.
