Just received a winter catalog from All Electronics in Los Angeles that has
.01 @1kV disc caps for 5/dollar and .001/10kV discs for $1.00 each. Three
or four of these in parallel might make a good plate blocker. They also
have "computer grade" Cornell Dublier caps that are 2,400uF @450VDC for
$6.50 each. Their number is 800-826-5432 and they have an interesting

them before and they are quite reliable with lots of components etc. I
have no interest in the company!
