Replacing the stock SB220 fils XFormer makes you have to use a step start
circuit on the fils circuit.
The original transformer uses a core that saturates at a little over the avg
current draw of the 3-500Zs.. One of the pluses of the SB220.. No step
start needed on the fils side. (the HV is another story).
