A very good 8877 has less than 2ua of leakage with +/- 8000v on the
anode. Grid/fil. should have zero leakage at +/-200v. If the anode
leakage changes with polarity change, gold-sputtering is indicated. If
anode leakage does not change with polarity change, a seal problem is
likely.
