I have a Clipperton L that I have used since about 1980.
It does not have a tuned input.
I have used it on 80 meters through 10 meters on CW and SSB
and have never blown a fuse or tube or anything else.
The ONLY problem I had was a tiny indicator bulb burned out.
It is a great amp!
