Using here a small power supply module from a scrapped Motorola Intensified
TV camera.
In a metal can 2" x 3 " by 1" thick. Looks like a little sardine can. Lid
soldered shut.
10V in will give 15KV out, adjustable over a pretty good range by lowering
the input voltage.
Output current is very low.
The part # is 1-30092A01 and they can be found at hamfests, either alone, or
in junk cameras. It was used to power the intensifier tube, and a 10KV
module was also made.
Used ones may still be available at Henry Brothers Electronics, in N.J., I
think.
