Now a more serious side, Phil:
    When setting your ricebox for AM, turn off ALL signal processing. Adjust
the ALC until you either detected meter movement, (if you have a meter) or
you detect light on the lamp, (if you have a lamp). This will give you the
best quality audio on AM far from changing your microphone. If you really
want to get creative, you can take an EV-664 into the input of the phone
patch and your audio will be un-hindered. Once that is setup, adjust your
amp for about 300 watts out without modulation, (this is assuming a 1KW
amp).
