looking for henry 8k, have for sale or trade henry 4k - ultra, s/n 265.
have original bill of sale, amp was built in 1982. this amp is cosmetically
and electrically perfect. only defect is wattmeter needle is bent very
slightly to right. meter movements are available from henry for abt
100$..goes with spare 8877. driving with ic746 will pin internal meter and
about 3k out on coaxial dynamics wattmeter. will trade or ?.
will swap complete station 4k-ultra and icom ic746, 746 purchased new in
may 1999 and probably has less than 50 hrs. this gear is in as new
condition. also have homebrew pair of 8877 on 50mc. it is ugly, crude and
built on used chassis ect, but driven with the 746 it will make 3800
out on 6.,its kind of like the w6po 2mtr amp but uses 2 tubes and lumped
inductors instead of pieces of pipe. has 4400v, 2a pwr supply, dahl 80lb
plate xfmr ect. is in junky 6ft rack. am open to offers if any interest..
