A similar problem in one of my 30S-1 amplifiers turned up a poor contact
pair on the T/R relay. Cleaning the contacts with a small Q-tip wet with
Acetone, after a once over with the proper burnishing tool did the trick.

:Hi gang, Here's an odd one. I've noticed that when I tune up my
Clipperton L into
:my TH7DX, the volume of voice and noise both decrease compared to
pretuning
:levels. It's almost like something in the tuning process has
desensitized the radio
:or the antenna. Where would I look for the source of this problem?
