Cool! Was urs a two-holer or a single like mine? Yeah, that kinda
voltage is scary, especially when something goes wrong as always happens
in building an amp (finding a plate choke resonance in the middle or near
the 15M band is one example - sparks and sputtering galore!). But once
working it's kinda neat to realize just how much juice you got. I love
hearing that transformer hum and whirr as I key down on mine!
