Today, I found similar kind of capacitor was used in a
switching power supply for PC. It is 100uF 450V and same
manufacturer, grade and exterior. The power supply is 100W
capability. The capacitor is used for a filtering
at just after bridge rectifier for mains input.
My guess was correct. The capacitor is used for 100/120Hz
filtering, not for 50KHz filtering.
