I have a solid-state relay rated at 45 amps, 277 volts. I would like to use it in the primary circuit of my plate supply, which has a 2400 va ccs transformer in it. Is there any reason not to use this type of relay? It will certainly be quieter than the old fashioned mechanical type! 73, Vic, K2VCO Fresno CA -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/ampfaq.html Submissions: amps@contesting.com Administrative requests: amps-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-amps@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search.htm |
