The better question, I guess, should be "Why did a _second_ SB-220
turn in PERFECT readings on ALL BANDS when checked the very same
way?". This (second) amp indicated points of resonance just barely
below the bottom of EACH band, 10M-80M inclusive.
However, I will take your suggestions into consideration.
