? Jennings recommends vertical mounting. This requires a right-angle
drive. Multronics makes a right-angle drive for this purpose that
replaces the collet at the end of the Jennings drive shaft. To change
the drive shaft collet to a right angle drive, back the drive shaft screw
out until the vac. cap. is a max. C. It's not a bad idea to put a bit
of medium-strength thread-lock compound on the set-screw threads before
tightening them. -- note: If a shallow chassis is being used, a spacer
must be placed between the mtg. flange and the chassis in order to clear
the right angle drive and drive shaft.
