Off topic, but ZL9CI.
On my setup here (FT-1000D and a TA-33 at 35 feet), ZL9CI was never
higher than S2 on my S-meter. I ran only 200 watts and worked them nine
times (different bands/modes). On some bands all I had was my G5RV. I
doubt they heard me at S-7. I have a rather large chuck of land called a
hill that effectively blocks me in the direction of ZL9.
