The Bill Orr Radio Handbook lists different sweep tube parameters.
The 6JE6 and 6LQ6 are shown as interchangeable. RF Parts at
(http://www.rfparts.com/) has the 6LQ6/6JE6 listed at $43.95 each.
This would probably be easier than getting all new sockets for a
different tube type. The 6LQ6 at 800 volts shows 60 watts plate
dissipation and plate input pwr of 197 watts.
