Hello again,

:15% over-Voltage cuts the emissive life to under 1%, Carl If a pair of

:good tubes brings the output up to what you consider normal, maybe it's
:Trash time?

Just thought I'd mention that old tired tubes work great as repair
process place holders. If I'm repairing a larger amplifier that had a
power supply meltdown, I install the tired tube(s) to bring the amp back
up the first time. Tubes are getting to expensive to try a new set in an
amp that has any question of proper power supply operation.
Some of them also make good door stops. I use a 4cx10000 as a door stop
as it's to badly damaged to rebuild.

cheers
