Hi All,
I have some solid state PA amps for sale. They come from the medical field
and are shown as 600 watt and were used in a pulsed mode. I have operated
them at 400 watts for short periods of time and the heat sink is much to
small for continuous operation and will need changed or a fan added for SSB
operation. They use 48 vdc for main power and 5 vdc for bias. BNC in and
out. Uses 3 transistors, 1 driver and 2 bipolar in the finals. The
transistors are rated to 30 mc, however, output at 30 mc is very low. Unit
has max output at around 14 mc...I think the 2 transformers are not broad
banded enough and would need to be rewound or the c changed to get a wider
bandwidth. There is no output filtering and would need to be added if you
used alone or would make great driver for larger tube amp.
Cost is $95 including shipping...contact me direct for further information.
