Also check the temperature rating for the caps. The temp
rating can give you some insight into their reliability. I'd
never drop back to a lower temp rating for an electrolytic
in a power amp. Obtaining caps with higher temp ratings
could provide some improvement in reliability and therefore
life expectancy.
Electrolytics can deteriorate with time--even time sitting on the
shelf--so surplus ones should be checked as far as manufacturing
date as well.
