Bad idea...the inrush current needs to be limited until the filter cap.
is charged up to 2/3rds its total capacity. A zero current relay is far too
fast for this! a resistance must be installed in the a.c. mains and left in
until the cap comes up to speed. This is different in each application; the
resistance/time is adjusted until the goal is reached of the 2/3rds charge.
An easy way to put yourself in the ball park on a step-start circuit is to
look at the plate voltage (available on most amp multimeters) as you turn 
the power switch on. The voltage will come up to about 2/3rds of its normal
value and stay there for 1 second or less when the resistance/time adjustment
has been made correctly.
