Am in the process of building an 811A amp. 4 tube variety. I'm
up to the tuned input and have some questions. I see in Orr's
handbook a tuned input circuit using a tunable slug coil and a
cap for each band. This differs from the usual pi type input
cicuit. Question: is this a good reliable circuit ? Is the
bandwidth acceptable? Will it "stretch" to the warc bands ?
