As Rich says, you need a bigger filament to get more output. The same
applies to the 4-250A and the 4-400A: they have the same 5v 14.1 Amp
filament ratings. Quite probably the same filament design was used for
the
3-400Z etc, as the ratings are the same (for the filament). I've never
cracked a 4-250 open to have a look see.
