Subject: FT-1000MP driving 3CX800
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi,
I would like to know if someone has solved the
RF power continous adjustment for Yaesu FT-1000MP
transceiver when used with modern amplifiers with
a pair of 3CX800 tubes. As is well known, this tcvr
has only three steps RF power output control ( 10-50
and 100w) in SSB mode and not a continous power output
adjustment. So, they are some problems when driving a
linear like Alpha 87A, 89, Command HF-2500 and similar
amplifiers. If I good remember, they were some solutions
on FT-1000MP hardware .
73 and thank you in advance for any answer.
