I always ran my TL-922 in the SSB position. Higher plate voltage gives
the same power output at lower plate current. I only used the CW position
for initial tune-up. I never had any problem with the amp (although I did
replace the stock fan with one that had twice the airflow).

Subject: [AMPS] TL-922 limitations
Assembled Gurus:
What is the limiting factor in a TL-922 amp that prevents one from using CW
in the SSB position???
Transformer rating? Tube rating? Misc. other components?
Thanks. Gary K7FR
