I was hoping for good condx -- Wed and Thu it was quiet and I heard a couple EU
right at my sunset. When I went into the shack for the 'test around 2100, there
was a serious noise to the east. Seemed to be propagated rather than local -- it
did rise and fall somewhat, but it was constant. I slept a while and got up
about 0900, and it was still noisy. Fortunately, my west BOG hears well and I
put a few 5 and 6 pointers in the log, plus KH6AQ.
Didn't operate at my sunrise, but the noise was gone at 1500.
And so it goes...
