Comments:
Fun contest to end the year with. The short, 25' vertical, inverted L, fed at
the feed point of my 6BTV as a parallel wire worked just fine. Worked everyone I
heard. Quiet band conditions throughout the contest period, made it easy to pull
out weak signals. No EU heard, but quite a few Caribbean DX heard and worked.
Longest distance was KH6AQ early Sunday morning before local sunrise for a 16
pointer. Always great to get K7RAT club station in the log, especially when they
heard my CQ! I think my grid count may be my all time high mark of 135.
Lots of fun!
73 and HNY to all,
Gene, N9TF
100 watts to shorty inverted L.
