Comments:
Excellent conditions both days, however that pretty much choked the 28.300 to
28.600 segment with stations, and most contacts were significantly QRM limited.
Combined swoop and pounce and some running when space permitted.
Missed Montana and Rhode Island for a USA sweep, secured 6 Canadien provinces
and 3 Mexican states.
It was really evident that operating from a southern Australian latitude (-33
degrees) really hurts, as stations located in the tropics could hear things that
were simply not audible here.

Still suffering from an SPE amplifier that bursts into oscillation every 2 to 3
minutes, taking 30seconds to re-compose itself - will tear it apart over our
holiday period and see if I can stablise the beast, or sell it as scrap..
Great event none the less.. David Burger VK2CZ, operating as VJ2J.
