Comments:
What fun! About a 90% effort. Started a little late and took some times off on
Saturday, then went full bore on Sunday. Condx were definitely better overall
on Saturday. Im no 10 meter expert so I was shocked when a spot for BD7MM came
out early Sunday morning and he was loud and clear on the long path and almost
begging for contacts...followed shortly by VR2T and a few JAs. A little later I
bagged VR2XAN on SSB with a great signal. I was late to the party Saturday
morning, but Sundays open featured a very degraded direct path over the northern
direct EU paths and heavily skewed to the south for the first 1.5 hours or so.
The evening JA openings to the east coast were meager at best. I was very
lucky on Sunday when a loud power line noise towards EU was squashed when it
started raining as soon as the direct path to EU started working! Whew! Thanks
for the Qs and 73 from Ty K3MM.
